Service Attendance Requirements for Bar/Bat Mitzvah:
Gimel Class - 3 Services, Dalet Class - 10 Services, Heh Class - 18 Services
The service card box is found outside the Sanctuary on the tallit table. Students are asked to arrive no later than 10:15 AM. Please pull the card with your name on it and place it BEHIND the appropriately labeled tab (i.e. Saturday behind here). Credit will be entered on the Monday following shabbat.

SPECIAL HOLIDAY SERVICES: HERE IS WHAT COUNTS! Students in the Dalet & Heh year at CSI can get Main Sanctuary service credit as follows for Sukkot & Simchat Torah:
Wed 10/12 & Thu 10/13 Sukkot evening services at 6 PM will count as an Evening Service (*Dalet & Heh students may attend up 5 evening services in those two years combined).
Thu 10/13 & Fri 10/14 morning services at 9:30 AM will count as a regular Shabbat morning service.
Wed 10/19 at 6 PM Shemini Atzeret counts as an Evening Service (see * above)
Thu 10/20, Fri 10/21 at 9:30 AM and Thu 10/20 at 7 PM EACH count as Shabbat morning services.
There are cards in the front of the service card box that are clearly marked. Please put your cards BEHIND the appropriate Holiday tabs.

Here is what counts in Dalet: Shabbat morning, 5 Fridays in Dalet & Heh combined, up to 3 outside services (E-mail Ellen@csibriarcliff.org with these dates), Holiday and Festival services (Purim - come in costume for double credit).
Here is what DOESN'T count: High Holidays or any outside Havdalah services.
