For over 110 years, Congregation Sons of Israel (CSI) has been a center of Jewish living in Northern Westchester, instilling Jewish values and providing a sense of warmth and belonging. Today, the CSI congregation is a multi-faceted community comprised of nearly 600 families, some being members for only a short period of time with others boasting membership that goes back several generations. All of these families consider CSI “home,” a place where they can fulfill their spiritual, educational, communal and social needs.

We, at CSI, are committed to building a strong and dynamic future, constantly striving for continuity and growth as a center for:
• Meaningful religious worship that is spiritually moving for all.
• Excellence in education for our youth and for all of those interested in the study of life through Jewish texts and values.
• Communal gathering where members can celebrate, commemorate and experience Jewish life to the fullest extent.

Our Capital Campaign, “Continuing the Vision…Building Our Future,” is not only a reflection of our future expectations, but is the vehicle that will enable us, as a family, to attain our future goals and dreams. Therefore, we reach out to you, being a respected member of our congregational family, as we embark upon our Campaign to provide the means to continue to develop CSI as a dynamic and sacred community. Success in our fundraising effort, “Continuing the Vision…Building Our Future” Campaign, will enable CSI to:
• Provide dedicated and multi-purpose space for the use, enjoyment and education of our children, teenagers, adults and seniors in a stimulating environment free from overcrowding and offering advantages afforded by state-of-the-art resources.
• Create a safe and secure environment by establishing controlled access to and from the property and building.
• Present a tasteful venue for the celebration of simchas within our community.
• Improve the office facilities with additional work and storage space so that our professional staff can perform their duties optimally to serve the congregation.
• Enhance our ability to experience the sacred dimensions of life.

“Continuing the Vision…Building Our Future” Campaign represents CSI’s first major congregation-wide fundraising initiative in more than a decade. All of our research and fact-finding clearly endorses the need for and ability to support this Campaign. It is, of course, dependent upon broad involvement from each and every segment of the CSI congregational family.
