As we conclude this time of renewal and reflection, when we examine the past and question how we can grow and do better, I ask you to consider Congregation Sons of Israel and its importance as a beacon of Jewish life in Northern Westchester.

For generations, CSI has been our community’s home. We are a community that not only worships together, but comes together for joyous occasions, supports each other in times of adversity and sorrow and provides opportunities to learn and socialize.

I encourage you to support our annual Kol Nidre Appeal, CSI’s most important fundraiser of the year. Your generosity will help us write the next chapter of CSI's story.

In order to encourage all to increase donations to the Kol Nidre Appeal, a very generous member of CSI, who wishes to remain anonymous, will again match twice the amount that you gave above your donations from last year’s Kol Nidre appeal (or twice your entire contribution if you are a new Kol Nidre donor), up to a total of $100,000. That means, for example, if you increase your donation by $180 dollars over your 2024 Kol Nidre Appeal donation, the generous donor will match an additional $360.

Your donation will play a role in strengthening CSI's present and future.
