About Us

Congregation Sons of Israel approximately 350 families as members, hosts a vibrant and inclusive religious school and one of the county's most respected early learning centers. We are proud of how each member brings his or her own story to our diverse community—such as those who have a multi-generational history at our congregation and those new to the area or Congregation Sons of Israel, of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking a Jewish community – a place to call home.

Learning

Our educational programs are first-class, with an early learning center onsite, one of the finest fully inclusive religious schools, and a robust adult education program. Our goal is to provide for a lifetime of Jewish learning.

Organic Farming

Congregation Sons of Israel hosts a unique addition to our synagogue and community – a fully functioning organic farm, complete with chickens, a vineyard, community farm beds, a prayer and meditation area, walking paths, and a fully functioning farm that grows tomatoes, peppers, squash, pumpkins, herbs, and much more.

Our Organic Farm is fully integrated into our various schools and is often the venue of our events. Centerpieces double as plantable herbs, and produce from the farm is found in our expansive kiddish luncheons, as well as at farm-to-table restaurants, and local food banks.

Prayer & Worship

We offer a dynamic blend of worship opportunities that span from the small and intimate to traditional Conservative services. Our main sanctuary, constructed in 1995, is a unique in-the-round experience, giving everyone a close and intimate relationship to the center of the action and provides a truly awe-inspiring space in which to practice Jewish ritual life.

Now, as always,  Congregation Sons of Israel is your home.
