David Pasternack, Executive Director
A Connecticut native, David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. He has had successful careers in Healthcare, including a part owner of a disposable healthcare product company, and in numerous Non-Profit organizations.
Starting as a Vice President for the American Heart Association, he was instrumental in the award-winning "Go Red for Women" campaign, raising $50M from the Pharmaceutical Industry. David worked for the Development Corporation for Israel selling Israel Bonds, selling over $200M annually with his team. He was privileged to meet with several Israeli Prime Ministers in his capacity. He then took the position of Chief Development Officer of Hadassah with global responsibilities. For example, David was involved in funding thirteen underground operating rooms at the Hadassah Hospital (Jerusalem) as part of a $375M capital campaign.
After David moved to Florida to be with aging family, he become the Executive Director of Temple Dor Dorim, helping to improve security and update an old building, along with growing the Early Childhood Center.
David is delighted to be back in Westchester and looks forward to seeing Congregation Sons of Israel thrive, being "the place to be" in Northern Westchester.
