As we have for the past four years, CSI will be collecting money rather than Passover food for Project Ezra, which services Jewish seniors on the Lower East Side. Any amount is welcome – chai ($18) or double chai ($36) is always appreciated. The cost of the box of food that we have donated in the past is approximately $65, so please consider donating for a full box.

Project Ezra will deliver small packages with Passover essentials to their clients. They will also receive a direct relief check they can use for Passover shopping. The checks will be distributed in April before the 1st Seder. As you being to think about your own Seders, please help with this mitzvah and be as generous as you can to help others celebrate Passover. Please send your donations by April 17th.

Where it says “tribute text” if you note that this is from Congregation Sons of Israel in Briarcliff Manor, NY, Ezra will keep track of our donations – similar to the memo line on a check. You can pay by credit card or send a check to: Project Ezra, 387 Grand Street (Ground Floor), New York, NY 10002, and please write “Congregation Sons of Israel Briarcliff Manor” on the memo line. Donations may be made through April 17th.
